一年一度的中考,已经进入倒计时了。
家有初三的孩子,是不是发现你的孩子在英语考试中,"首字母短文填空"这道题特别容易丢分?
因为这道题型对考生来说,相对较难,它既需要有阅读理解的功底,又需要有做完型填空题的综合运用英语知识的能力,此外,它选择的答案还有绝限性,因为是给了考生首字母的,考生只能根据这个首字母来思考相应的单词。
所以,考生考不好,要么是阅读理解没有做到位,找不到要对应的单词,要么就是综合运用各种语言点的能力不够,即便是找到了相关的词,但是单词的形式填错了,还是不能得分,很可惜的!
找到了失分的原因,如何对症下药,在有限的时间里,做针对性的练习?
第一:
立足语篇,整体阅读。
这一步非常重要,因为现在英语试卷对学生的考核,已经越来越倾向于阅读理解,也就是客观题比较少了,主观题偏多。
那么,如果读不懂全文,考生就会对这道题束手无策,不知道从何处下手。
一定要在理解整个语篇的基础上,顺着短文作者的思路,进行整体阅读。
切忌读了一个句子,刚好这个句中有一个空格要填,然后就对着所给的首字母,冥思苦想,要填什么单词,然后越是想不出来,越是着急,无形中给了自己压力,影响到后面的答题。
第二:
根据主题,把跟文章大意匹配的单词先找出来。
文章读懂了,根据文章的主题,和所给的首字母,推测合适的单词。
在此过程中,不要纠结一个或者几个首字母,想不出对应的单词。
总共这道题要填10个单词,你能找到的单词越多,你对这篇文章的阅读障碍就越少,反复多读几篇,你纠结的那几个单词,也会慢慢想出来了。
第三:
对选出来的单词,一一推敲,仔细斟酌。
这是这道题拿高分的关键一步!
第一,第二步考阅读理解,这第三步,则要考查考生对英语语言知识的掌握和是否能灵活运用。
学生在这关键的一步上往往容易放松警惕,以为把十个单词都找出来了,就大功告成了。
怎么把好最后关键的一步?
首先根据词性和语法:
如果你选填的单词是动词,而且充当的是句子谓语,那就要根据上下文考虑用什么时态,什么语态。
如果不在谓语的位置上,就要考虑是应该用done/或者doing的形式。
如果你选的这个单词是名词,那么,要考虑这个名词的单复数,名词所有格;如果你选的这个单词是形容词/副词,那么,要考虑是该用形容词,还是用副词,还要考虑是不是要用比较级,最高级;如果你选的单词是数词,要考虑是用基数词还是序数词;如果你选的单词是代词,那就要考虑跟代词相关的主格,宾格,形容词性/名词性物主代词或反身代词;
再有就是要考虑词组的固定搭配,和介词的一些用法;还有要根据文章的主题,注意文章中前后句的逻辑关系,判定该选什么样的连词。
总之,“首字母短文填空”是中考试卷上综合运用最多的一道题型,考生应抓紧时间,多多刷题,通过刷题,可以发现自己在哪个环节还有漏洞,及时补上,也对做好其它题目有相辅相成的作用。
做题步骤与方法:
首字母填空类属于短文的阅读题的考查,可以是考查英语语言知识方面的,也可能涉及到其它学科的内容。
学会一点常用的答题技巧,再在做习题中体验一下,就可以解决这方面的问题。
