Abstract:
Withthedevelopmentofeconomy,businessEnglishcorrespondencelettershavebecomeanimportantwaytocommunication.BysendingEnglishcorrespondenceforforeigntradeletterstoeachother,wecanexchangeinformation,contactbusiness,negotiateandsolvetheproblemsexistedintrading,andalsopromotefriendship.TheauthorthroughacomprehensiveandsystematicanalysisandcomparisonofEnglishbusinesscorrespondencescharacters,andtoarguethatitstranslation.TheexploringofprincipleofEnglishbusinesscorrespondencetranslationplaysanimportantroleinasuccessfultranslation.TheauthorupholdstheviewthatEnglishbusinesscorrespondencetranslatorsshouldfollowthethreeprincipleof“faithfulness,exactnessandconsistency“.FaithfulnessisthefirstprincipleforbusinessEnglishtranslatorstofollow;

BusinessEnglishcorrespondenceisabranchofbusinessEnglishsystem.Withtherapiddevelopmentofglobeeconomy,businessEnglishcorrespondence,asatoolforinternationaleconomicexchangeplaysanimportantrole.AndbusinessEnglishcorrespondenceisabridgeconnectingChineseandEnglish.BusinessEnglishtranslatorsshouldhavestrongawarenessofthefeatureofbusinessEnglishcorrespondence,sothattranslatorscanhaveabettercomprehension.
1.WordsFeatureinBusinessLetters
Peopleusedifferentlanguageindifferentsituation.Justascertainclothesareconsideredinappropriateinofficesbysomecompanies,soiscertainlanguageconsideredequallyinappropriateinbusinessmessage.Inbothinstances,theresultisalossofcredibilityandrespect.Whenusedcorrectly,languageaccuratelythedegreeofformalityinherentinthesituation.Thus,wecanarrangelanguagealongacontinuumbetween“formal“and“informal“.
