本单元教学内容以Doyouwanttowatchagameshow?
为中心话题,围绕着“谈论喜好和制定计划”展开,学习和运用句式Doyouwanttowatch...?
和Whatquestionsandanswers以及一些描述性形容词,表达对某些电视节目的喜好(评价)。
SectionA是基本语言内容的收集和学习,要求学生掌握一些常见电视节目类型的英文名称,如talkshow,sitcom,news,soapopera,gameshow,sportsshow,talentshow等,结合do引导的一般疑问句和what引导的特殊疑问句,进行简单会话,表达个人对某种电视节目的喜好。
SectionB在SectionA的基础上,进一步拓展学生基础知识和语言综合运用能力。
SectionB1a在SectionA1a呈现的6种TVshows的基础上增加了comedy,actionmovie,scarymovie等内容。
SectionB的教学应侧重于引导学生拾记并运用一些描述性形容词,如wonderful,relaxing,meaningless,enjoyable,exciting,boring等,自由谈论电视节目并表达个人的喜好。
同时,SectionB也安排了一些读、写的任务活动,教师在教学过程中可以整合本单元教学内容,引导学生尝试着写简单的影评。
本单元是实用且学生感兴趣的话题,本单元的学习对于提升学生具体语境下的语言综合运用能力大有助益,同时也可以丰富学生生活,陶冶情操,对学生德育教育也是益处良多。
