Today’sworld,Englishisrecognizedasworld’suniversallanguage.In

currentprimaryschoolsEnglishteaching,studentsneedtomasteralargenumberof

vocabularies,sentencestructuresanddialogues.ImproveEnglishspeakingandlisteningabilityisthemostimportantthinginprimaryschoolEnglishteaching.As

foreignlanguageteacher,weshouldfindwaystocreatingcontextandprovidingmoreopportunitiesforpracticalapplication.Havinggreatflexibilityandcreativity,stickfigureiseasytooperation.ItisaneffectivewayinEnglishteaching.Inthisgraduationthesis,IanalyzethesituationofcurrentEnglishteaching,expoundontheroleandapplicationofstickfigureinEnglishteachingandmakeamoredetailedexpositiononitsuse.Thepaperpointsoutstickfigure’simportantsignificancein

Withthedevelopmentofsocialinformatizationandeconomicglobalization,Englishisbecomingmoreandmoreimportanttoday,whichisanewchallengeforstudentsundoubtedly.ChildrenhavetostarttolearnEnglishfromanearlyage,graduallyenabletomastertheforeignlanguagesimilartotheirmothertongue.Englishisrecognizedastheworld'

suniversallanguage.Fornon-nativeEnglishspeakerscountries,thereisanincreasingdemandforEnglishtalentsandtheconditionbecominghigherandhigher.AsFormerVice-PremierLiLanqingsaid,“Itisnota

generalteachingprobleminpopularityofforeignlanguageeducation,trainingforeignlanguagetalents,improvingmethodsandthelevelofforeignlanguageteaching,butitisamajorproblemofimpactonChina'

spolicyofopeningupandpromotingChina'

constantlyexploringnewandeffectiveteachingmethodsinEnglishteaching.Totrainqualifiedforeignlanguagetalent,primaryschoolisthefoundation.Infact,everysentenceinEnglishteachingshowsascenario.Thescenariocanbeexpressedbypicturesorpersonmoves.Thiskindofmeanshelpsstudentsunderstandtheusageofsentence.Theauthorthoughtstickfigureisaneffective,simpleteachingmethod.2.ThecharacteristicsofprimaryschoolstudentsEnglishlearning
