虽有舟车劳顿之苦，但我们兴奋，我们自豪！

我们来此不是为欣赏这颇具皇家风范的清华园。

要看风景，我们可登泰山之巅观喷薄日出；

也可赴西北塞外赏大漠孤烟。

尽管这荷塘的月色曾让我们浮想联翩，尽管这中西合璧的清华建筑足以让我们叹为观止。

但真正吸引我们师生的是清华的内蕴与精神。

此地乃谈笑有鸿儒，往来无白丁之所。

梁启超曾在此发表激情澎拜的《君子》演说，唤醒多少沉睡中的中国少年；

钱钟书横扫清华图书馆，为我们留下不朽的传世佳作；

朱自清漫步荷塘池边，将月色下的荷塘描绘的如诗如画；

多少青年才俊曾在此激扬文，总论天下事；

多少墨客骚人，曾荟萃于此。

如此斯人远去，但他们的背影却让我们感觉如此清晰。

他们的形象、他们的精神、他们的思想早已融入在这清华的空气里。

连同清华的一草一木、一砖一瓦构成了清华厚重深刻的历史，散发着人文的芬芳，进而积淀成中华文化“自强不息，厚德载物”的精神瑰宝，并铸入校徽，高悬于庄重的礼堂，警示和鞭策着每一位清华学子。

我们来了，带着对知识的渴望；

带着对生活的激情；

更带着对梦想的追求！

“自强不息，厚德载物”的清华校训也激励着我们每一位上进青年。

读懂清华校训，才可能读懂清华。

天行健，君子当自强不息；

地势坤，君子以厚德载物。

对于我们每一位莘莘学子诚然如此。

不屈不挠，战胜自我，永远向上的精神品质是获取知识宝藏的基石。
