本单元内容共由四部分组成:
SectionA主要陈述自己过去的爱好,自己过去常做的事情的引入,要求学生明了要用usedtobe句型。
此外,SectionB为学生提供了大量的进行实战练习的语境,而且从听、说、读、写几方面全面进行。
Selfcheck部分主要为进一步掌握本单元出现的一些单词及动词的用法提供了练习,此外,还有一篇阅读理解训练。
这些便于学生通过自测来进一步掌握本单元内容。
Reading部分虽然篇幅长且涉及到许多新的语言点,但其重点为方法及技能的训练。
通过usedtobe,beafraidofmiss,worryabout的用法加强表达朋友、家人等现在和过去的变化

本单元语法重点内容是usedto这个句型。
1.“主语+usedto+动词原形+其它”。
在这个句型结构中usedto的含义为“过去常常”。
表示过去的习惯,暗示现在已无此习惯
1)Daveusedtoworkinafactory.意思是:
Daveworkedinafactorybeforebuthedoesn’tworktherenow.
2).used这个词没有人称的变化,to后面接动词原形。
a.)WhenIwasachild,Iusedtolikechocolate

3)usedto这个词组只用于讲述过去,我们不能用useto来讲述现在
