60MWplantisdesignedbyWuxiHuaguangBoilerLimitedbyadoptingthetechnologyofCASengineeringinstituteonCFBandengineeredandfabricatedaspertheIBRbasedontheirvastexperiencesofmanufacturingoftheCFBboiler.
ThisoperationmanualispreparedtointroducetheoperationconditionsandprecautionstobetakenfortheoperationoftheboilerbasedontheengineeringfeaturesoftheCFBboiler.Thisoperationmanualisthereferenceusedbytheclienttopreparetheirownregulationsforstartupandoperationoftheboiler.
1.Thepreparationtobecarriedoutbeforethestartupoftheboiler
Beforethestartupintegrallyforcommissioningoftheboiler,thefollowingactivitiesshouldbecarriedout:

●Thechemicalboiling
●Thesteamblowingofthepiping
●Theignitiontestingoftheboiler
●Thecompletionofthetrialrunofthesafetyvalves
●Theinterlockprotectiontestingoftheauxiliaryequipment
●Theprimaryprotectiontestingoftheboiler
●Theaerodynamicfieldtestingoftheboilerundercoldstate
Inthismanualonlythedryingoutoftheboilerandtheaerodynamicfieldtestingaredetailedintroduced.
1.1Thedryingoutoftheboiler
Thedryingoutoftheboilerreferstothedryingprocessforthefurnacewalllinerandtheinsulationlayerbeforethecommissioningbutaftertheerection.Inprinciplethedryingoutprocesstakes120hoursto150hours.
Thenewlybuild-upfurnacewalloftheboilercontainscertainmoisturewhichneedstobedryingoutslowly.Ifthisprocessisnotcarriedoutbutcommissioningoftheboilerdirectlythecontainedmoistureinthefurnacewallwillevaporatetogeneratecertainpressuretoresultinthehappeningofthecracksonthefurnacewall,tode-shapeordamagethefurnacewallandthemostseriouscircumstanceisthatitwillcreatetheflakesonthefurnacewallandfurtherresultsinthefallingdownofthefurnacewall.
Thedryingoutoftheboilercanalsoacceleratetheprocessofthephysicalandchemicalchangesofthefurnacewallmaterialstoincreaseitsstrengthsteadilytofacilitatethefurnacewalltoworkunderhightemperatureonlongtermbasis.
Hencethedryingoutprocessisdefinitelyrequiredtobecarriedoutasperthetechnicalguidancebyusingthesmallfirebeforethecommissioningoftheboiler.
Thedescriptionofthedryingoutprocessoftheboilermayberecommendedasakindofmethodtocarryoutthedryingoutoftheboiler.
♦Thewear-resistantandtherefractorymaterials,inprinciple,arelaidoutinthefurnace,cycloneseparatoranditssealleg,theinletandoutletofthefluegasduct,materialreturningdamper,slagcoolingdeviceandthestartupburner.
♦Thecuringmethodofthewear-resistanceandtherefractorymaterialsincludingthedryingoutcurvesshallbejointlypreparedbythematerialsupplier,theclientandthecommissioningcontactor.
♦Attheplacesofsealleg,thematerialreturningdamper,theoutletfluegasductoftheseparatoranditproperanairreleaseholeofφ10withthepitchof500×
500mmshouldbeopenedtofacilitatethereleaseofthemoisturefromthewear-resistantandrefractorymaterialduringthedryingoutoftheboiler.
♦Theprovisionshouldbemadeattheplaceoftheemulsionzoneatbottomoffurnace,cycloneseparator,andtheoutletfluegasductitsmaterialreturningdevicetotakethesamplesofthewear-resistantmaterialtocheckitsmoisturecontenttoverifythequalityofthedryingoutprocess.
♦Theheatresourceforthedryingoutprocesscommonlyadoptstheinstalledstartupburner.Itisbettertocombineitsneighboringheatingdeviceifthesameisavailable.Thisinstructionissuppliedforreferenceontheconditionofusingstartupburner.
1.1.1Thepreparationwork&
thepre-conditionsforthedryingoutprocess
♦Theerectionworkfortheboilerproper,thematerialreturningsystemandtheairsupplyaswellasthefluegassystemiscomplete.Andtheairleakageandtheairpressuretestinghavepassed.Thethermalinsulationworkshouldbecompleted.Allthemanholes,mandoorsarekeptopenfornaturaldryingofnotlessthan72hours.
♦Theinternalinspectionofthefurnace,fluegasduct,cycloneseparator,materialreturningdevice,theAPHaswellastheESPshouldbecompleted.
♦Theindicatorsforcheckingoftheexpansionoftheboilerpartsareinstalledandtheindicatingneedle(Indication)issetto0position.
♦Theoilsupplysystemerectionshouldbecompletedandpassthehydrostatictestandfunctionsproperly.
♦Thethermodynamicinstrumentsandtheelectricalinstrumentsareinstalled,calibrated,testedandreadyforuse.
♦Theinternalsofthesteamdrumerectionshouldbecompleted.Thescaleofthewaterlevelgaugeshouldbeclearandcorrectwithproperlighting.
♦PumptheDMwatertothesteamdrumtillitreachesthenormalwaterlevel(NWL).AndensurethatthetemperatureoftheDMwateriscommonly30~70℃andthedifferencebetweentheDMwaterandthedrumwallisnotmorethan50degreeCelsius.Andcleanwashthewaterlevelgauge.
♦Thesamplingpointsshouldbearrangedforthewear-resistantmaterialattheplacesoftheemulsionzoneatbottomoffurnace,cycloneseparatorandmaterialreturningdevice.
1.1.2Themethodofthedryingoutanditsprocess
Afterthecompletionofbuild-upofthewear-resistantandrefractorymaterials,openallthemanholes,mandoorsfor72hoursfornaturaldryingandthenthedryingoutprocessmaybestarted.
Thedryingoutprocessmaybeconductedstagewise,namelythelowtemperaturedryingoutoftheunderbedstartupburnerchamber,thelowtemperatureintegraldryingoutoftheboilerandthehightemperatureintegraldryingoutoftheboiler.
Thelowtemperaturedryingoutoftheunderbedstartupburnerchamber
Therefractoryandthethermalinsulationbricksstructuresarelinedinsidetheunderbedstartupburnerpre-firingchamberandinsidethemixingchamber.Namely,refractorybrickof80mmwillbelaidinsidethechambershell;
innerinsulationwillbeadoptedinthemixingchamber,namely,refractorypouringmaterialof120mmandinsulationpouringmaterialof300mmwillbeadoptedinsidethemixingchambershell.Thisareahasthefeaturesofhighthermalloadanddifficultycontrollableofthetemperatureincreasingspeed.Theheatimpacttothewallrefractorymaterialislarge.Ifthemoisturecontainsinsidethejointsoftherefractoryandthetemperatureincreasingisfastandthenthefallingdownoftherefractorymayhappen.
Hencebeforecarryingoutoftheintegraldryingoutoftheboilerbyadoptingofthestartupburneritisrecommendedtocuretherefractoryandthethermalinsulationmaterialofthestartupburnerbyusingthewoodchipswiththetemperatureof300degreeCelsius(basedontheairchambertemperature)
♦Startwiththesmallfirewiththeinitialtemperatureof100degreeCelsius.
♦Slowlyincreasethetemperatureandkeepthetemperatureat160degreeCelsiusafter2hoursandcontinuefor6hours.
♦Andthenincreasethetemperaturewiththespeedof30degreeCelsiusperhourtillitreaches300degreeCelsiusandthekeepitfor10hoursandthencomplete.
Thelowtemperaturedryingoutoftheboilerintegral(300-350degreeCelsius)
♦Nobedmaterialshouldbefedinsidethefurnace.
♦Makethetemporarypartitionwallattheinletsectionofthecycloneseparatortoguidemostofthefluegasflowtothecycloneoutletbypassingthroughthematerialreturningsystem.Controlthefluegasflowbyflashboard.
♦Starttheunderbedburneroilgun(300kg/hatomizerplate).WhenstartingfirstlyinputtheNo.1startupburnerwiththelowestburningratio,after30minutes,functiontheNo.2underbedstartupburnerandsteadilyoperatefor3hours.
