本单元的中心话题是“谈论天气”。
SectionA部分涉及两个主要语言功能项目:
一是运用How'
stheweather?
及描述天气的形容词windy,cloudy,sunny,snowy,rainy等来谈论不同城市的天气状况;
二是继续运用现在进行时态来描述人们的即时活动。

一般情况下在表示天气的名词后加-y,变为相应的形容词。
如果这个单词是重读闭音节结尾,则要双写最后一个字母再加-y.
