tofindsomedifferencesbecauseofitsbeingfilmizedandretoldinanewway,but
thespiritofthenovelremains----tobeanindependentperson,bothphysicallyand

sisteremily,whohadrecentlyjoinedthemattheschool,backhomeassoonasthe
othergirlsbecameill,butcharlotteinparticularneverforgotwhattheschoolhad

sisterspublishedabookofpoems,andthoughsaleswereveryslow,thereviewswere
goodandspurredonfurtherliteraryendeavours.charlottesnovelofthistime,the
professor,wasactuallyratherbad,sufferingfromaless-than-believeablemain
character.inaugustof1846charlottebeganworkonjaneeyre.thoughitwaspublished
