Thehydrationindexcouldproveusefulwhenmakingdecisionsaboutwhatbeveragestoconsumeandwhen.Forexample,ifyou’regoingonalongdriveandwon’thaveaccesstofluids,you’dbesmartertodrinkmilkratherthanwateroricedcoffee.Butdon’tforgetthatmilkhasmanymorecaloriesthanwater,sodon’toverdoit,either.
