AtthestartofWorldWarII,theBritishgovernmentdesignedthreepostersandtheKeepCalmposterwasoneofthem.Twoofthethreeposterswerereleased(展示)inpublicinordertoencouragetheBritishpeople.Althoughnearly2.5millioncopiesoftheKeepCalmposterhadbeenprinted,theBritishgovernmentdecidednottoreleasethem.In1940,mostofthecopieswererecycledintootherpaperproducts.Onlyafewwereleft.
