AllEPROMchiphaveawindowthatisusedtoshineultraviolet(UV)(紫外线)radiationtoeraseitscontents.TheonlyproblemwithEPROMisthaterasingitscontentscantakeupto20minutes.EPROMisalsoreferredtoasUV-erasableEPROMorsimplyUV-EPROM.
