•join表示参加某一团体、组织机构,并作为其中的一员。
如:
jointheArmy/Party/theLeague
•joinin:
参加活动,多指小规模的活动,如“球赛,游戏”等,常用于日常口语中。

•attend:
是正式用语,指参加会议、婚礼、典礼;
听报告,讲座等。
•takepartin:
参加(群众性活动,会议等),往往指参加者持积极态度,起一份作用。

•2.atthebeginningof在……开始
attheendof在……末尾/终点
e.g.Atthebeginningofthemeeting,thepresidentintroducedhimself.在会议开始的时候,总统首先自我介绍。

形容人,人感到厌烦。

形容事或物本身。

•interested(感兴趣的)/interesting(有兴趣的);
excited(感到兴奋的)/exciting(兴奋的);
surprising(令人惊奇的)/surprised(感到好奇的);
moving(令人感动的)/moved(感动的)

•同义词:
doone’sbest“尽力,竭力”
•E.g.ifyouaredeterminedtodosomething,youmusttryyourbesttodoit.如果你决定好做什么事,就必须竭尽你的全力去做好。

•他们尽力按时完成了他们的任务。
•6.think……over仔细考虑,反复思考
•在该结构中,如果是代词做宾语应放在中间;
若是名词做宾语,可以放在中间,也可放在thinkover的后面。
