Subcontractor:

Athirdpartythataddsaprocessstep（s）toMattelprovidedrawmaterialsorsemi-finishedgoodsinthemanufactureofproductsforMattel.Examplesofsubcontractingactivitiesincludebutarenotlimitedtothefollowing:

a）AmanufacturerusingMatteltoolingprimarilytoperformaspecificprocess（i.e.,injectionmolding,blowmolding,rotocastingandextrusion）usingtoolingownedbyMattelbecausethesubcontractorhastheexpertiseandequipmenttoprovidetheserviceorsupportproductionduringpeakseason.

b）Materialorsemi-finishedcomponent（s）providedtoamanufacturertoperformspecifictaskstoaMattelcomponent（e.g.,sewingprocesses,surfacecoatingdecoration,etc.）.

TechnicalDossier:

ApackagethatcontainsdocumentationshowingcompliancetoallEuropeanrequirements（ReferenceAppendixA）.

ToxicologicalRiskAssessment（TRA）:

Itisareviewoftheformulationtodetermineiftheformulationwillposearisktoconsumers,i.e.,causeadversehealt
