Abstract
Low-densitypolyethylene(LDPE),alsocalledpolyethylenebyhighpressure
process,isoneofproductsofthehighestdemandandthebiggestoutputinthe
world.Becausethepolyethylenehastheexcellentfunctionof,simpleprocessof
model,cheapnessinprice,sothepolyethylene’sapplicationhasgonedeeplyintoevery
sectionofcountry.
Themainofpresentdesignintroducedthecurrentstatusofpolyethylene.Atthe
sametime,thecharacteristicofproducts,processesandtheequipmentofLDPE.etcis
mentioned.ThestatusofresearchonLDPEindomesticityandabroad,thesituationof
production,theneedofmarketandapplyinginthefuturewerealsointroduced.Thetotal
materialbalanceofpolymerizationsystem;
theselectionanddesignofpolymerization
reactor;
andtheselectionofstirringdevicesandthecalculationofpowerthereof,andthe
heatbalanceofthefirstpolymerizationreactorwerefinished.Andthetechnicalflow
chartandthepolymerizationkettletechnicalassemblechartispictured.
AndthetoolwhichIusedinthedesignisoneofthemostpopularchemical
technologysimulationsoftwareintheworld—ASPENPLUS.Itwasusedtosimulate
theethylenebulkpolymerizationprocessbythesensitivityanalysisinthepolymer
moduleandinvestigatedthemolecularweightaffectingfactors.
