Thetopicaimstorevealtheproblemsinthepresentforeignlanguageteachinginthejuniormiddleschool,andfindthemethodstosettlethem.Thepotentialproblemsinthepresentforeignlanguageteachingareinmanyfacets,suchasteacher-centered,teachingmethodsandlearnerautonomy.Withthedevelopmentofthesociety,theseproblemswillhinderthedevelopmentofEnglishteachingandlearning.Soinordertoadapttothesocialdevelopment,it’snecessarytoadjustandimprovetheclassroommethod.Accordingtothepresentproblems,theauthorpostsforwardsixmethodstoimprovetheteachingandlearning:
①continuingtointensifytheteachingofbasicknowledge;
②changingthetraditionalteacher-centeredandtest-orientedpattern;
③trainingandkeepingstudents’interest;
④trainingstudents’learningstrategiesintheirstudies;
⑤makinguseoftheInformationTechnologytoorganizethecontextualteaching;
⑥evaluatingthestudentscorrectly.

摘 要
本文意在揭示目前外语教学中存在的问题,并找到改进的方法。
外语课堂教学存在的问题是多方面的,如教师中心问题,教学方法问题,学习者自主性问题。
随着社会的进步,这些问题将阻碍英语教与学的发展。
为了适应社会的进步,对教学方法改进与提高是势在必行的。
作者就目前所存在的一些问题,提出以下六种改进教与学的方法:
①加强基础教学;
②改变以教师为中心,应试为导向的教学模式;
③培养和保持学生兴趣;
④培养学生学习中的策略;
⑤利用IT技术,创设情境教学;
⑥正确的评价学生。

Introduction
Education,asthebasicculturetransmittedway,hasastableroleineverycountry’sdevelopment.EducationplaysanincomparableroleinChinawhichholdsfivethousandyearshistoryandculture.Withthefastdevelopmentofthesociety,especiallyatpresent,thefastdevelopmentofthescienceandtechnologyandthehighrequirementoftalenttryoutoureducation’sessence.
Sincethereformandopeningtotheoutsideworld,duetointroducingtheforeigninvestmentandtakingindifferentculture,theChineseeconomicalstatusintheworldincreasesgradually,andthepeople’sknowledgeisalsoimproved.However,it’snotenoughtoknowonlyourownculturesandkeepthetraditionalcustomsundertheglobalizationtrend.Asamatteroffact,weareeagertoknowtheworld.Tokeeppacewiththeworlddevelopment,Chinamakesgreatchangesineducation.ThemostimportantistoemphasizetheEnglishcourseinthejuniormiddleschool,whichaimstobringupmoreexcellentEnglishtalentsandacceleratetheChinesedevelopment.However,withthesocialdevelopment,theaimofEnglishteachinghasadramaticchange.TopopularizetheEnglishistobringupmoreEnglishtalents.But,duetothegreatchangesanddevelopment,itfomentstheutilitarianismoftheschools.Especiallyinrecenttenyears,theaimhasbeenonlycaringaboutthescores.It’sworthwhiletothinkoverthisresult.
Generalspeaking,theteachingconditionisimproved;
theresultshouldbemoreeffective.Butthefactisjustreverse.Theteachingeffectbecomesworse.Thereasonsareinmanyaspects.Themainreasonsexistinoureducationalsystemandtheteachersthemselves,butthestudentsalsoshouldtakeonsomeresponsibilities.
ⅠTheProblemsinthePresentEnglishTeaching
TheChinesetraditionalteachingpatternisthecrammingmethod,whichpaysnoattentiontostudents’creation.Thestudentsjustlearnthelanguagemechanically.Theyonlyrememberthekeypointsoflanguageandcannotusethemflexiblyintheactualsituation.However,Englishisakindoflanguage.TheaimtolearnEnglishisnotonlytorememberitsgrammar,buttouseEnglishasatooltocommunicatewithothers.But,mostoftheChineseEnglishteachersstilladoptthetraditionalteachingpatterntoteachEnglish.Thisisunscientificandstronglyaffectsthetrainingoftalents.
ATheProblemsRelatedtotheEducationalSystem
ThebasicpatternoftraditionalEnglishteachingisso-calledPPPpatterns(WangQiang,2006),thatis,presentation,practiceandproduction.Thecharacterofthispatternissuccinctnessandeasyforoperation.Tobesure,thetraditionalteachingpatternisnotalldefectiveandstillhasitsownadvantage.ThePPPpatternspayattentiontoimpartingthebasicknowledge,especiallygraspingthebasicknowledge,sothestudentsstillreservecertainknowledge.Itjustdoesn’tdisplaycorrectlyandeffectively.Theexaminationalsohasitsadvantageasthewaytocheckthestudents’knowledge.Byexams,theteacherscanknowthepresentabilityofthestudentsandthenadjusttheirteachingmethod.But,thispatternhasfatalweaknessinalanguage’slearning.
