ssonLeifwasplanningatripfurtherwest,BiarniwasthemanwithwhomLeifdiscussedhisplans.LeiffollowedBiarni'
sdirectionsandsailedtowhatisbelievedtobethecoastofpresent-dayCanada.HethensailedfurthersouthtoanislandwhichisnowknownasNewfoundland.WeknowaboutErictheRedandLeif'
