TheterminalhasbeendesignedtolookandfeelChinese.Thebuilding,amixtureofglassandsteel,usesthetraditionalChinesecolorsofredandgold.Columns（柱体）insideareredandtheroofisadullgold.Fromtheairitissaidtoresembleaflyingdragon.

Thebuildinghasthelargesttechnology.Tosaveenergy,theroofallowsinthemaximumamountoflightandheat,andtheadvancedbaggagesystemcanhandleupto19,000piecesofluggageperhour.
