《英语课程标准》对初中毕业生英语阅读技能的要求是：

1.能根据上下文和构词法推断、理解生词的含义；

2.能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系；

3.能找出文章的主题，理解故事的情节，预测故事的发展和可能的结局；

4.能读懂常见体裁的阅读材料；

5.能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息；

6.能利用字典等工具书进行学习；

7.除教材外，课外阅读量应累计达到15万词以上，（以每篇250词估算，应该读完600篇。

）

3、做题技巧

1.快速浏览全文，了解文章大意。

浏览时要注意每段的开头、结尾、重要的情节句子，若遇到不认识的单词或不理解的句子，可根据上下文猜测，切不可停滞不前。

2.浏览问题，明确要求。

把每个题目内容看明白，进一步理解文章的主要内容，具体做题时才能对号入座。

3.带着问题，通篇寻读。

带着问题重读文章，找到问题的关键词、句或意群，以及任何有关答题的信息。

4.复读全文，验证答案。

全部题目做完后，必须再仔细阅读一遍全文，进一步加深对文章的理解，核实所选答案。
