Abstract:
UndesiredgenerationofradiatedorconductedenergyinelectricalsystemsiscalledElectromagneticInterference(EMI).High
speedswitchingfrequencyinpowerelectronicsconvertersespeciallyinswitchingpowersuppliesimprovesefficiencybutleadstoEMI.Differentkindofconductedinterference,EMIregulationsandconductedEMImeasurementareintroducedinthispaper.CompliancywithnationalorinternationalregulationiscalledElectromagneticCompatibility(EMC).PowerelectronicsystemsproducersmustregardEMC.ModelingandsimulationisthefirststepofEMCevaluation.EMIsimulationresultsduetoaPWMBucktypeswitchingpowersupplyarepresentedinthispaper.ToimproveEMC,sometechniquesareintroducedandtheireffectiveness

I.INTRODUCTION

II.SOURCE,PATHANDVICTIMOFEMI
Undesiredvoltageorcurrentiscalledinterferenceandtheircauseis
calledinterferencesource.Inthispaperahigh-speedswitchingpowersupplyisthesourceofinterference.
Interference propagated by radiation in area around of aninterferencesourceorbyconductionthroughcommoncablingorwiringconnections.Inthisstudyconductedemissionisconsidered only.Equipmentsuchascomputers,receivers,amplifiers,industrialcontrollers,etcthatareexposedtointerferencecorruptionarecalledvictims.Thecommonconnectionsofelements,sourcelinesandcablingprovidepathsfor conducted noise or interference. Application of electrical equipment especially static powerelectronicconvertersindifferentequipmentisincreasingmoreandmore.Asmentionedbefore,powerelectronicsconvertersareconsideredasanimportantsourceofelectromagneticinterferenceandhavecorruptingeffectsontheelectricnetworks 2.Highlevelofpollutionresultingfromvariousdisturbancesreducesthequalityofpowerinelectricnetworks.Ontheothersidesomeresidential,commercialandespeciallymedicalconsumersaresosensitivetopowersystemdisturbancesincludingvoltageandfrequencyvariations.ThebestsolutiontoreducecorruptionandimprovepowerqualityiscomplyingnationalorinternationalEMCregulations.CISPR,IEC,FCCandVDEareamongthemostfamousorganizationsfromEurope,USAandGermanywhoareresponsiblefordeterminingandpublishingthemostimportantEMCregulations.IECa
