LRGenericListofMaterial,ComponentsandEquipmentCertificationHUBVersionDate201105201TheintentionofthisdocumentistocompilealistwiththetypesofcertificationforMaterials,EquipmentandComponents（ME&@#@C）intendedtobefittedonboardcargoships.2ThescopeofthedocumentisbasedonLloydsRegisterRulesandRegulationsfortheClassificationofShips,MSPMandEuropeanUnionDirective96/98/EC（MEDcertification）,fromnowonreferredasMasterDocuments.3ThedocumentistobeusedasguidelinesandincaseofanydiscrepanciesbetweenthepresentdocumentandtheabovementionedMasterDocuments,therequirementsinthosewillprevail.4DiscrepanciesshallbebroughttotheattentionofthedocumentOwnersforcorrectness.5WheretheMasterDocumentsdonotprovideclearinstructionsaboutcertificationrequirementsforspecificMaterial,EquipmentandComponents,thepresentdocumentincorporatestheindustrypresentpractiseinmajorshipbuildingcountries.6ThedocumentistobeusedonlyforinternalguidanceanditisnottobedistributedoutsideofLR.7However,thecontentofthedocumentcanbeusedtoprovideguidanceandadvicetoclientsregardingME&@#@Ccertificationwhenthisisrequested.8LR-CertificatetypemarkedasLRindicatesthattheME&@#@CrequiresaLloydsRegistercertificateissuedbyLloydsRegistersurveyorinaccordancewithrulesandregulationswhichmayormaynotincluderequirementsfortheME&@#@CtohavebeensubjecttoTypeApproval,TypeTestorPrototypeTestpriortotheindividualcertificatebeingissued.9LRTA-CertificatetypemarkedasLRTAindicatesthattheME&@#@CrequiresaLloydsRegisterTypeApprovalcertificate.NoindividualcertificationbyLRisrequiredbutaMakerorManufacturerdeclarationconfirmingthattheME&@#@ChasbeenmanufacturedinaccordancewiththeLRTAapprovalmayberequired.10TA-CertificatetypemarkedasTAindicatesthattheME&@#@CrequiresaTypeApprovalcertificationissuedbyaRecognisedBody（otherClassificationSociety,FlagadministrationorCertificationBody）.MarineEquipmentandComponentscertifiedundertheMEDCertificationSchemearecoveredunderthissection.NoindividualcertificationbyLRisrequiredbutaMakerorManufacturerdeclarationconfirmingthattheME&@#@ChasbeenmanufacturedinaccordancewiththeTAapprovalmayberequired.11MakersCertificatetypemarkedasMakersindicatesthattheME&@#@CrequirestobeissuedwithaManufacturerCertificateorStatementdeclarationconfirmingtheME&@#@Chasbeenmanufacturedinaccordancewithrelevantnationalorinternationalstandards.12TherequirementsforsendingcopyofcertificatestoHQarebasedonthepresentinstructionsgivenintheMarineSurveyProcedureManual（MSPM）underFirstEntryReportingClassificationNewConstruction.13TherequirementsforkeepingacopyofthecertificateswithinthelocalofficearebasedonthepresentinstructionstomaintainprojectfilesarchivingrecordsasperShipNewConstructionProjectManagementProcedures.14Theguidelinesforkeepingacopyofthecertificatesonboardarebasedonship-ownersbestpractices.LRGenericListofMaterial,ComponentsandEquipmentCertificationItemNoItemDesignationRulesorRegulationReferenceCertificateTypeCopyofCertificateRequired:
