Abstract:
ThispaperusesHexaMmadebyToyodaMachineWorksCo.asananalyticalmodelofparallel
mechanismtypemachinetools.Muchcollisionmaybegeneratedforitscomplicated
structureandworkingspace,whenaworkpieceismachinedusingthismachine.For
example,thosecollisionsaregenerated.betweenthemovingcomponentsoftheparallel
mechanism,betweenthemovingcomponentsandaworkpieceandbetweenthemoving
componentsandthetoolstorageforautomaticchanging.Inthispaper,analgorithm
fordetectingandavoidingthosecollisionswasproposed.Themethodforavoidingthe
collisionswasconductedbyreadjustingthelocationoftheworkpiecewithoutamending
thetoolpath.Itisconfirmedthroughexperimentthattheproposedalgorithmis
usefulfordetectingthecollisionsanddeterminingthelocationoftheworkpieceprior
totheactualmachining.

Inrecentyears,thePMTdevelopmentandapplicationofthegrowing,butbecauseofitsstructureandworkingspaceisverycomplicated,useitforprocessingtheworkpiece,itisverypossiblethemachinecomponentsthemselvesinterferewiththeworkpieceandthemachineinterference.Also,iflikePMTHexaM[1],workonstageintheinstallationofautomatictoolchangedevicesandotherperipheralequipment,theinstallationoftheworkpiece.Itmaylimittheinstallationoftheworkpiecelocation,thatis,peripheralequipmentandworkpieceinterferencethatmayarisewhenprocessingmachinesandperipheralequipmenttointerfere.
PMTontheirwaytocheckinterferenceandmachineworkspacehasbeenmuchresearch[2~5].Amongthem,ThiswriterandotherJapanesecompaniesToyotaMachineWorksofPMTHexaM[1]asamodel.DiscussionofPMTstheirinterferenceintheinspection,theworkspaceapproximateexpression[5].theotherhand,5-axisNCmachining,cuttingtool(knife,ChuckandSpindle)andtheworkpiece(workpieceandfixture)interferencemethodsalsohavemany.Amongthem,Takeuchi,etc.[6]toolsystemfromthesurfaceforanumberofpointsasinterferencechecking,andtheworkpiecesurfacearerelativelysimplefunction,wheninterferencecheckpointattheinternalfunctions,beabletojudgeforthemachineandworkpieceoccurredinterference;Theauthor,etc.[7]andthemethodproposedherejusttheopposite.thatis,fromtheworkpiecesurface,systemselectioninterferencechecking,whetherthesystemaccesstoolforinterferencechecking.AsCNCmachineperipheraldevicesarenotgenerallyplacedintheworktops,So,inthesetwomethods,theydidnotconsiderprocessingmachinesandperipheralequipmenttointerfereintheissue.
ThesestudiesarediscussedindetailPMTtheirinterferenceinthemachinetoolandworkpieceandtheinterferencecheckingandevasivemethods,However,theuseofPMTago,butthereareseveralproblems:
①workingplatformforperipheraldevicessuchasabarrierMachine[1]shouldconsiderthemachinesandperipheralequipmentpossibleinterference;
②theinspectionmachineandtheinterferenceoftheworkpiece.Considerationshouldalsobegivenspindleplywood,plywoodhingelinkwiththeworkpieceandthepossibilityofinterference,However,theexistingCAMsoftwaredoesnotincludesuchinterferencedetection;
③machinewhenthereisinterferencewiththeworkpiece.GeneralToolalwaysposturaladjustmentstoavoidinterference.Infact,PMT,inadditiontoposturaladjustmenttool,Youcanalsoadjustthelocationoftheworkpiecetoavoidallinterference.Moreover,ThisapproachavoidedthebiggestadvantageisnottochangetheexistingCAMsoftware.
BasedoncommonCAMsoftwaretoolpathoftheoutput-based,shortenthetimetointerfereintheinspectioncheckpointsdocumentcomposition,Byadjustingthelocationoftheinstallationoftheworkpiecetoavoidthepossibilityofallkindsofinterference,oftheworkpiececantestforprocessingattheworkpieceandmachinabilitybestinstallationlocationcalculation.
1.Interferencecheckingandavoidinterference
UsingthePMTHexaM,peripheralequipment(theknife)andtheworkpieceinstallationdiagramshowninFigure1.Therefore,Forthemachine,duringprocessingandinstallationoftheworkpieceatthepossibilityofinterferencewithhisinterference,machinetoolandworkpieceinterferencemachinesandtheperipheralequipment,andinterferencewiththesurroundingdevicesworkpieceinterference.
Ifyouareusingaparallelmachinetablewithoutperipheraldevicesordevicesplacedaroundthefarmore,willnotaffectthelocationoftheworkpiecemachiningprocessortherewillnotbemachinesandperipheralequipmentinterference,canbeomittedfromtheworkpieceandthemachineandequipmentaroundtheinterferencechecking.

1.1Theirinterference
1.1.1ThecompositioncheckpointsDuringprocessing,Alltoolscanbeappliedtopositionliterature[5]describedmethodtocheckwhethertheirinterventionwillhappen.ifthereisinterference,canbeusedintheadjustmentoftheworkpiecelocationtoavoidinterference.Partsoftheinstallationlocationchanges,ProcessingToolpositionwillnaturallybechanged.Therefore,theneedtoconductanotherinspection,notoccuruntilthedatetheirinterference.Asaninstallationateachlocationtolocationofallthetoolsforinspectioncomputingtimewillbeverylong.Toshortenthetimeofcalculation,thisisnottherighttoolforalllocationsandtoextractonlyasmallnumberofkniveslocation(hereinafterreferredtoascheckpoints)interferencechecking.Therefore,pointoutchecksmustbedone:
atcheckpointsifnointerferenceinitsown.intheothercutterlocationwouldnotinterfereintheiroccurrence.settingupcheck-pointsadvantageofasignificantreductioninthefrequencyofinspections.
Fromthez-axiscutterfarther,thehighertheposition,thegreaterthedegreeoftilt,themorepronetheyinterferein[5].Therefore,waitfortheprocessingoftheworkpiece,thetoolpathfromtheoutsidetosharethemeasurementpoint,thehigherthecutterlocation,tooltiltanglelargerpointastodeterminewhethertheyinterfereinthecheckpoints.
1.1.2InterferewiththeinspectionmethodsToolpositionandposturestraightatthemoonandthespacerotarydiskspace,itwouldbeinterferenceinitsown[5].Therefore,theyinterferewiththeinspectionmethods:
①readallcheckpoints,obtainedacheckpointeachcorrespondingtothestraightandrotatingspaceYuanYuanspace[5].②cutterpositionandpostureinresponseThestraightroundspaceandspaceRotaryCircle,convictedofthecheckpointwillnotinterfereintheiroccurrence;Inallthecheckpointsarenotinterfered,werejudgedtobeinstalledinthepositionnottointerfereintheiroccurrence.③IfacheckpointinthelocationorpositionofthestraightexcessspaceYuanYuan,orrotatingspace,canbeusedintheliterature[5]mentionedintheinspectionmethodstointerfereinthereview.Asspacethantheaverageroundofinspectionsinterference[5]calculationtobemuchsmaller,sothiskindofmethodcanshorteneachinspection,thecomputationtime.
1.1.3AvoidinterferencemethodAsinthesamehorizontalplane,thecutterinthez-axislocationattheleastpronetohisinterference.Therefore,Ifacheckpointinaself-interferencethenwecheckpointsandthez-axisdirectionconnectivityasevasive.Then,Partsoftheinstallationlocationalongthedirectionofmovementofevading10mm.Iftwoconsecutiveevadedirectionoftheangleisgreaterthan150°.thatcouldhavebeenavoidedreverseddirectioninthehorizontalplanedoesnotexistinthelocationtoinstall,soTheworkpiececanbeinstalledtoenhanceupwardposition.Inthispaper,eachincreaseby10mm.IftheyinterferewiththemainmotorisarotaryscrewlowerinterferenceNoteworkpieceistoohighorthelocationoftheworkpiecetoohigh,notwiththemachinetool.
1.2Machineinterferewiththeworkpiece
1.2.1ThecompositioncheckpointsAsshowninfigure2,machineandworkpiecepossibleinterferencebetweenpartsofaknife,chuck,spindlehead,spindlesplint,Hingesandplywoodlink.workpiececanbeseenfromthesurfaceandsurfacecomposition.Amongthem,Surfaceprocessingfromthepointwithmachinemighthappentothenon-interferencebynon-machinedsurfaceprocessingpointis,here,processingandpointandnon-pointprocessingcollectivelyreferredinquiriestothepoint.

Inquiriespointwithknives,andChuck,Thefirstspindleaxisandthesplintinterferenceknownasacategoryinterference.Suchinterferenceonlywithknives,theposture,andworkpiecepositionunrelatedtotheinstallation.Therefore,ifthescreeningofsuchinterference,andonlyposturaladjustmenttoolforevasive,ThisrequireschangesCAMsoftware,beyondthescopeofthisdiscussion.
Inquiriespointsplinthingeconnectingrodorinterfereintheresolutionasinterferenceintwocategories.Suchinterferencecanbeadjustedthroughtheinstallationoftheworkpiece-Purchaseavoided.Belowthesetwotypesofinterventiononthecheckpointsformed.
