Anexampleinculturalstudiesisthemostpopulartoday"culturaleconomy"-oneconomicandculturalthoughtstocheckit,ratherthanasanindustryasakindofwords.CulturalhistorianswillsaythetrendisdifficulttoAtlanticnewparty.In1992,BritishmediaacademicsJimMaiGuiGenblamedoncontemporaryparadigmcrisiscultureresearch,itsseparationfromculturalandpoliticaleconomy.Heputforwardlouderappealandapairofconsumptionculturemodeofproductionasthecenter.Hisproposalalsoapopulistcriticism,leading,consumptionasthecenter,withvalueofexamplesoftheaudience,''positiveisasovereignconsumptionsubjectiswho(imagineis)notindustrialcontroleconomicandculturalexistencereasonMcGrigan,1992).MaiGuiGen,ofcourse,quiteapersoninhisowntime.Howtoputbackonthebottle-fortheelvesin'economicrecoverymode,avoiditenters'keybacktomarxisteconomicrightsfatalism-isstillaprovocative,butnotoutofthemission.
In1992,whenthehumanitiescenteratWesleyanuniversityinMassachusetts,theoristandculturecombinedeach1teamdirectorinAmericancultureindustryforatermcalledseminar"producingandsalesculture"(MrMann,1996).Thisisanamazingattempt,sponsoredbyCoca-ColaCoca-Colafoundation,academicaccesstoculturalcriticismoftheindustry,howthelatterimaginemarketresearchandconsumer,andaskedthemiftheyintentionallycreateandshapeourhope.
Theresearchmethods,launchedamodule,thisconferencemostclosetoovercomeepistemologyisdividedintoproductioncenterandconsumptionasthecenterofthemethod,materialconditionsincultureunderstandingquery,namelyasadepartment.Fastforwardtotheearly21stcentury,theeconomyofthe"culture"currentlyhypecultureandmediaresearchwonadditionalvalue,becausethistime,itisnotonlythescholarsintheivorytowerwhoissupporttheanalyticreasons.Moreimportantis,'aculturalturn'initsmomentumgatheredenterprisesector,accordingto'culture'playsakeyroleintheeconomicaspect,andmarketingpractices,ontheonehand,theperformanceoftheorganization,enhancetheother.Howeverminoratrend,andalsoitisnotablethatineconomicdiscipline,akeyeconomicgeographerproposedqualityasaculturaleconomicsaset,discoursestructure,positiveframemarket.Therefore,beforethemarketdoesnotexistatthe2002·),describedsomeofitsobjective,transcendentalmethod(DEguayanddiscourse.Economictheoryisregardedasaneconomicstructure,positiveensembleshapingreality(Karen,1998,2000).
Thepolitical,cultural,andpolicies.
IMaiGuiGeninagreementwithearlyinastandoffin1990saboutthisisculturalinvestigation.Likehimbackafter,Ithinkthesimpleanswerisretrievealostcausesmaterialismofthereturnofthetraditionalcultureresearchpoliticaleconomics.Inordertodothis,Iwilldevotemyselftotheproductionofmaterialculturestudy.Thetrajectoryoftheeconomyandculture,however,thereisawarning.Itrunstheriskoftriggeredbythecentralconcernofculturalresearchsubjectidentity,namelytheculturalpolitics.Doublechallenge,Iwanttotakeaproject,throughpolicyresearchkey,islocatedinthemethodtoyourselfthehandontheculturalandeconomictiesbetweenabetween,andpoliticsandpolicy,suchasin.Letmeexplainmore.Mainstreamculturehastostayinmytwoaspectsofthefieldinaworldanalysisdifferentiation.Intheirplanningthings,'politicalcommitment'needtoassumethecriticismandboycott;`policy,ontheotherhand,iswithsecurity,hegemony,andthestatusquo.Thisisunderstandablemainstreamcultureresearch(itsstaplefare,thatcriticismpower)firedpolicyguidancecultureresearchcommittedrevisionistrebelswhothoughtthebetrayaloffrommargin(1titleinthestudyofregionalcultureofprivileges)tocenter,where`power'isinstitutionalizedpolicyform,corruptionandtheabsolutenecessity.
Wewouldn'tbesittingheretodayinthisseminar,andifwebelievesuchapartialideaofeffectiveness.Thisisone-sided,becauseitdoesnotacknowledgebothdesireandpossibilityofthebridgeacademicworkerspoliticalcriticismandparticipateinthegapbetween.Forthoseofuswhotodaytoshareaconcept:
acriticalframepolicyresearchprovidesabreakthroughpointthesetransitionalactivities.ItspecifiesascholarBBS,tomeetthedecisionmakersandanalystswhoarewillingtoengageinmultidisciplinarypolicydiscussions.Mostimportantly,thetwoorganizationsdedicatedtothepossibilityofsocialtransformationinChinahasincrementalreformthroughtheregulatorysystem,fromthebackdropofculturalproduction`'meansamorecomplexthanwhattheprocessoftheculturalandeconomicmodecanbealoneprovides.Forus,evenstartedthinking,culturalpolicyareasregulatorypolicychanges,wemustfirstrecognizethat'culture'cannotsimplyfollowmarketprinciples,becauseitisinthesametime"meansandpurposeofsocialregulationandgovernment"(Bennett,1992,26),therefore,'culture"isthesupervisionsystem,constitutivecanbeconsideredasindispensablerationalitygovernment.Thisculture/governmentcouplets,shouldbegivenequalweightsotheanalysisofthecorrectculturetendencyresearchemphasizethelinkbetweencultural/market.
Inaddition,wemustnotbeconceptmisleadingis,thecloserelationshipbetween'culture'and'government'isChinaalone.EvenAmericaandBritainruledkingdomderegulationofspeech,stillbeontime,priceandtransmissionstandardcontenttelevisionindustryespeciallyinlanddepartments(hyjalLin,2001)pelosi.`culture'shouldbewhetherconsciousness,likeacommodityinthecenteroftheinternationaldebateisunderway
Thefeasibilityofaboutculturecross-mediabordertrade.InCanada,EuropeandmorerecentlyintheUnitedStates(onmediaownershipdebateisinvolved,thefederalcommunicationscommission'srulingheart),countriesandculturalpolicyinstrumenttodelimitthenationalculturalmarketactiveparticipation.Throwopentheresistanceofnationalculture,therefore,isnotjustChinamarketintegratedly.
Researchproblems,Ithinkpiecesareasfollows:
whatconstitutesaquerytheculturalmarketthepolicymanagement?
Andtheyshouldgotowhere?
Likeotherpolicyareas,ChinaafterjoiningtheWTO,culturalpolicyhasbecomesuchturmoilandcontroversialareas,itstripeeasierthanevertodifferentthoughtsandprescription.InterventionIstillshouldnotice,nonlocalfluxbecauseinsuchacultureindustry"asapolicyofbirth"classificationofjustrecent.Itcanbetracedbackto2001,whenthe10thfive-yearplanmadeconspicuousplace,forthefirsttimechanyeforreformtomandarinerabegan.FromthecurrentchallengesofopeningChina'swtocontentindustryprovidescountryfurtherencouragedevelopmentthink-tankmusiccollegeinHongKongacademyforperformingartsinserviceastheyoungtalentsemergingculturalindustries.Then,lastyear,twomainresearchinstitutions"nationalcultureindustry"alsolaunchedoneafteranother,inthenorth,inBeijinguniversity,inShanghaijiaotonguniversityinthesouth.Meanwhile,theblueofculturalindustryeachyeartheinstituteofsocialcenterissuedbyChinesecultureresearchinscience.InChina,academiaprovidesafeasiblepolicySuggestions,locationandapplicationhumanitiesspiritisanobviousrealityculturalissuesmoreandmorepolicy.ThedomainResearchproblem-basednowletusreturnandfulfillingmethodandmybigframeworkresearchproblemsspecificproblemsgroup.Thoughtwhatthepurposeis'culture'and'economic','politicalandpolicyintheseriesservicetoourpolicyreviewChineseculture?
