Unit1BodyLanguage
一.课程标准内容
语言技能
能听懂描述性的形容词,重点关注地点,路线交通工具的听力技巧;学会用形容词描述一个人,能用相关信息写便条;掌握一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时、一般过去时、现在完成时、过去进行时、过去完成时等时态。
语言知识
学习本可课的37个新单词和词组,如appearance,impression,respect,remind等;复习巩固七种时态;动名词作主语的用法。
情感态度
了解肢体语言在人际交往中的重要性,了解眼神交流更是交流的关键因素,并且理解不同文化中交流的差异性,从而提高学生对东西方文化的理解力。
学习策略
通过查找肢体语言的相关资料,培养学生的人文主义精神。
文化意识
通过学习本文后,了解到肢体语言以及眼神交流的重要性,学以致用,能合理运用肢体语言表达思想和行为。
二.教学要求
基本要求
1.掌握有关肢体语言和眼神交流的词汇,以及本单元出现的37个新单词和相关短语。
2.掌握一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时、一般过去时、现在完成时、过去进行时、过去完成时七种时态。
3.动名词作主语在Morereading里的应用。
发展要求
1.对本单元出现新词的用法有深入、细致的了解。
2.理解七种时态间的区别和用法,如一般过去时和现在完成时之间的区别。
3.对中西文化不同的认知,理解思维的差异性,有助于更好的学习西方文化。
4.通过更多的相关文章,进一步了解肢体语言的重要性。
说明
本单元的语法知识是对旧知识的复习,需要通过适当的练习和讲解加以巩固。
对动名词用法的扩展。
三.本单元教学建议
1.课时分配
建议本单元用课时完成。
第一课时:
WarmingUp本课时内完成学习Reading的部分内容Skimming/Scanning。
第二课时:
BodyLanguage本课时内完成词汇、短语的讲解,BodyLanguage课文前两段讲解,Workbook上的Vocabulary部分ABC留作回家作业。
第三课时:
BodyLanguage剩余课文的讲解,课后练习CD留作回家作业。
第四课时:
听说部分,说方面注重对人的描述上。
第五课时:
Grammar中所涉及的七种时态和书上、Workbook上的相关练习。
第六课时:
MoreReading:
EyeContact词汇及整篇文章的理解。
第七课时:
Writing:

2.单元要点
词汇和语法(时态)。
学习有关肢体语言和眼神交流的词汇。
语言功能:
用描述性形容词来形容人或物。
了解眼神交流的重要性。
3.教学建议
热身(WarmingUp)
教师可事先准备一些不同脸部表情或肢体形态的图片,在课堂上展示,引导学生来描述这些图片。
亦或是展示一些肢体语言的动作,让学生来猜这些动作的含义和感受。
读前(Pre-reading)
设计一些有关课文的问题(开放式问题),指导学生通过自行阅读,得到问题的答案。
阅读(Reading)
本课是学生进入高中阶段的第一课,也是新阶段英语学习的开始,因此养成良好的阅读习惯、培养正确的阅读方式,是极其重要的。
本课教师可在课堂上教授学生英语阅读的方法,通过问题展开课文的学习。
本单元的Morereading:
EyeContact是对课文内容的BodyLanguage的延伸,有助于学生更深入的了解文章的内容。
教师还可以寻找一些手势语的文章,来帮助学生更全面的了解肢体语言在交流中的必要性和重要性。
技能学习(Skills)
这部分是培养学生的听说能力,以及语言的实际运用和操作能力。
写作技能(Writing)
写便条是一种很实用的写作知识,运用也很广泛,是一种传递信息的便捷手段。
