(3)而“so+主语+助动词/系动词+情态动词”表示赞同前者的说法。

6.sure的用法
(1)besureof接名词、代词、动名词,表示主语对某事“确信,有把握”。

(2)besuretodosth.意为“肯定、一定会做某事”,是说话人对某事的看法、推断.

(3)sure可以作副词,意思是“的确,一定,当然”,相当于certainly.

1.must,might,could和can’t的用法及区别
(1)must表示推测,说明说话人对自己做出的判断很有把握,意为“必定……”;must表示推测时,只限于肯定句。
表示否定的推测要用can’t.

(2)can/could表示推测,用于肯定句时,此结构的可能性介于用和构成相应结构之间,即“may Thatcan’tbeMary____she’sinhospital. (3)may/might表示推测时,表示的可能性小得多,口气较弱。 意为“也许/也许已经”;might比may的语气更委婉. Marymaybeathome.
