本課程安排一系列專題演講,訓練學生熟習學術研討會的情況,此為四學期課程,邀請校內教師與校外學者專家演講,或請研究生發表研究成果,後二學期,每一壆生必須針對其有關碩士論文主題做口頭報告。

Asequenceoflecturesarearrangedinthecoursetotrainthestudentstobefamiliarwiththesituationofaacademicsymposiumoraconference.Basically,itisafoursemesterscourse.Somelecturesaregivenbytheteachersintheschoolorbytheexpertsinvitedfromoutsidetheschoolinthecourse.Thelecturemayalsobegivenbythegraduatestudentswhohavecertainsolidconclusionsdrawntheirresearch.Inthelasttwosemesters,eachstudentisrequiredtopresentonthetopicinvolvinghismasterthesis.

位勢理論之複變分析:
熱流問題、流體動力問題、波以松積分公式、諧合函數之性質;保形映射:
定義、線性分式變換、特殊線性變換、其它函數之映射黎曲面;數值法概論:
緒論,以疊代法求方程式之解,內插、雲線、數線微分與積分;用在線性代數之數值法:
高斯消去法、LU因子分解、疊代解法、最小平方法。

本課程先各種不振動有關的來源介紹起,接著逐步分析一般結構物如房、橋樑、柱、板等動力反應。
探討之項目包含有單自由度系統進而至任意自由度系統運動方程式之推導,並且利用和式技巧如矩陣循環法、雷利原理、雷利-利茲法、並和電腦配合來求得不同受力情況下之解答,最後從能量的觀念,並以漢彌敦原理評估航空太空計劃中相關結構體之運動特性。

電腦發展,數值計算之誤差與精確度;一數方程式之求解;內差法,近似理論與近似特徵值;數值微分與積分;線性系統之直接解法與疊代技術;非線性系統方程式之數值解;常微分方程式之初值與邊界值問題;偏微分方程式之數值解;上述各項除理論之探討外,並注重電腦主機如VAX/VMS,微電腦如IBMPCCOS之操作與套裝軟體如IMBL之應用。
