1.INTRODUCTION
1.1Thisspecification,togetherwithallattachmentsandreferenceddocumentations,definestheminimumrequirementsfordesign,fabrication,assembly,painting,testing,packingandshipmentpreparationforSeparatorpackagesitemizedasfollow:

3.RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1VENDORshalldesignandprovidetheSeparatorpackageandrelevantancillariesincompliancewiththisspecification,applicabledocumentationandcodesreferencedtoatCompany.
VENDORshallberesponsibleforthedesignandconstructionoftheSeparatorPackagesandtheirintegralcomponents.
3.2IncaseofconflictbetweenthisspecificationandcodesandstandardsreferencedatCompany,VENDORshallbringthemattertotheCompany’sattentionforresolutionandapprovalinwriting.
Incaseofconflictoccurringasaresultofcomplyingwiththeabovementioneddocuments,theorderofprecedenceshallbeasfollows:

∙CompanySpecifications
∙VENDOR’sapproveddeviation(ifany)
∙OtherReferencedInternationalcodesandstandards
4.DEVIATIONS
4.1VENDORshallbeconsideredtobeintotalcompliancewiththisspecification,documentationsandstandardsreferencedatCompany.Vendortofill-in,signandstampanyclarifications,deviationsorexceptionsaccordingtoAppendix-3ofSectionA1ofITBDtorecordthedeviationsproposedbythevendoratthebiddingstage.
4.2Anyfurtherclarifications,deviationsorexclusionsnotlistedbyVENDORinitsbidshallnotbetakenintoaccountatalaterstageofexecution.
5.DESIGN
5.1GENERAL
5.1.1SeparatorPackagesanditsrelevantancillariesshallbedesignedandprovidedincompliancewithdatasheets,thisspecification,applicableCOMPANYdocumentationandcodesreferencedinSection2.
Design/OperatingdatashallbeasspecifiedinrelevantDataSheets.IncasethedataprovidedisconsideredbyVENDORinsufficientforthePackagesdesignandfabrication,it
istheVENDOR’sresponsibilitytorequestfurtherinformationfromtheCOMPANY.
5.1.2VENDORshalldesignandprovideallequipmentandmaterialsasskidmountedunitinaccordancetothescopeofsupplyshowninthePipingandInstrumentDiagram(P&ID)referencedatSection2.
5.1.3Skidlay-outandarrangementshallbedesignedbyVENDORinordertoensureaccessibilityandmaintainabilityofallon-skidcomponentssuchasvalvesandinstrumentation.VENDORshallarrangetheskidsfollowingasguidelineSeparatorSkidGeneralArrangementDrawingreferencedatSection2.
5.1.4AllmaterialswithinVENDORscopeofworkshallbedesignedandprovidedsuitableforoutdoorinstallationatambientconditionasindicatedinthisspecification.
5.1.5ThemeasurementsystemshallbeinS.I.(InternationalSystem)units.
5.2SEPARATORVESSELS
5.2.1PressureVesselsshallbedesignedandprovidedinaccordancewithdatasheetsand
SpecificationreferencedatSection2.
5.2.2Themechanicaldesign,fabricationandtestingoftheVesselsshallbecarriedoutinaccordancewithASMESecVIIIDiv.1.
ThecriteriongiveninthePIPVECV1001referencedatSection2shallbetakenintoaccountbytheVENDORinitsdesign.
PressureVesselsshallbeASME“U”codestamped.
DimensionaltoleranceofthefabricatedVesselsshallbeinaccordancewithASMESection
VIIIDiv.1andVEFV1102M.
5.2.3VENDORshallprovideallseparatorsinternals,asdemisterandweirindicatedintheDatasheetReferencedatSection2.
5.3LOADS
5.3.1AllSeparatorscomponentsshallbedesignedtowithstandafullhydrostatictestintheerectedposition.Combinedstressesduetofullhydrostatictestandwindorearthquakeloadsshallnotexceed90%ofthelowestSpecifiedMinimumYieldStrength(SMYS)ofthematerialsofconstructionattesttemperature.However,forcesproduced,duetowindorearthquakedesignconditionscanbereducedto40%ofitsvalues.
5.3.2PressureVesselsshallbedesignedasaself-supportingunitinaccordancewiththerequirementofASMEVIIIDiv.1,AISCcodesandwithoutexternalstiffenerrings.
5.3.3PressureVesselsshallbedesignedforwindandearthquakeloadinginaccordancewith
ASCE7codes.
5.4CIVIL
5.4.1VENDORshallprovidealltheloadsonfoundation(verticalloads,shears,andmoments,ifany)fortheskidswithinthescopeofwork.CivilEngineering/materialsandsiteactivitieswillbebyCOMPANY.
5.4.2VENDORshallspecifytheanchorboltstofixtheskidsontheirfoundationsslabs.AnchorboltsshallbeprovidedbyCOMPANY.
5.5HEADS
5.5.1ThetypeofheadsshallbeASME2:
1ellipsoidalorASMEhemispherical.
5.6STRESSANALYSIS
5.6.1VENDORshallperformnozzlesloadanalysisinaccordancewithWRC107.AllowablenozzleloadsshallbeinaccordancewithCOMPANYSpecificationreferencedatSection2.
5.7FLANGESANDFITTINGS
5.7.1AllflangesandflangefittingsshallbeinaccordancewithASME
