Thisperiodcontainsthreeparts,thatis,CulturalCorner,TaskandModuleFile.ThefirstpartisapassagemainlyaboutthedifferencesbetweenqualitynewspapersandpopularnewspapersinBritainandtheunitedstates.Ifyourclassisn’tofhighlevelorthetimeisnotenough,thispartmaybedealtwithasanextensivereadingmaterial.Butifso,youcanfirstcarryoutasurveyamongthestudentstocheckwhattheyknowaboutthetwokindsofnewspapers,whichmayserveasthepre-readingactivity.InthecourseofreadingthestudentsshouldconsciouslycomparethedifferencesbetweenqualitynewspapersandpopularnewspapersinBritainandtheUnitedStates,whiletheteachercanprovidethemwithachartinwhichtheygivethemsomeinformationabouttheBritishnewspapers.Atlastcarryoutadiscussionamongstudents:
